West African media practitioners can attend a three-week course in Accra, Ghana which aims to strengthen the capacity of peacebuilding practitioners and institutions across West Africa. The course, offered annually by the West Africa Network for Peacebuilding (WANEP), will take place September 1 to 19.
The West Africa Peacebuilding Institute (WAPI) also seeks to promote the development of indigenous responses to conflict. The institute is divided into three sessions.
