The project is called "Youth against Terror". It is an annual action that is held in Lithuanian capital - Vilnius, and that lasts for few days. During those days in Vilnius there are organized debates, discussions, visits to embassies of those countries where terroristic acts already took place, a charity concert (this year it will be a famous Russian rock band “Chaif” concert), an exposition of photos and of children paintings on the issue of terrorism in the world and many many more. All money gained during this action are each year given directly to people who have suffered from terrorism in different countries.
This
year the action will take place during 18 - 21 of September. As this
year the event is held on international level, we are inviting 2 people
from each European country to come and join us.
The only condition for the coming person is to be able to speak Russian well - it is very important since Russian will be the working language and we are extremely interested in active participation of every person, of course.
We would be very grateful if you could either spread this information among members of your NGO and other youth.
Conditions: we cover all expenses connected with accomodation and food and 100% of travel costs.
