In Africa, the efforts to improve sustainable development of communities are challenged by exacerbating effects of food and nutrition insecurity. Integrating strategies that address food insecurity and malnutrition will contribute to improving quality of life of people, now and in the future.
Most programmes for sustainable development are not effectively integrating food and nutrition security.
