Centre offers the following courses annually:
- International Human Rights Law (twice ANNUALLY: Jan-March and Sept/Oct-Dec).
The courses are intended for persons who are interested in gaining an
in-depth understanding of international human rights standards and the
international machinery of the United Nations, Council of Europe, the
OAS and the African Union for implementing these standards and how this
machinery works in practice.
The course features organised visits to NGOS,
criminal courts and prisons. A law degree or other training in law is a
help but by no means essential.
Participants are awarded a Certificate of Attendance.
Training Cost
The fee for the three month course is £2,950. The fee for the six-month course is £3,500 if the participant spends the final three months undertaking an internship. The fee for the six months course in Nottingham is £5,900.
